Love You Forever
By Kathy Weathers
It all started on March 31, 2001. I thought I was pregnant and I took a test. I was. I had a great pregnancy.
On July 21, 2001, the doctors heard more than one heartbeat. I was having five babies. They came on December 8, 2001. Hunter Gage was 5 pounds, 2 ounces. Alexander Cole (Alex) was 5 pounds. Amanda Daniela was 3 pounds, 11 ounces. Joshua Noah was 2 pounds. Miranda Nicole was 3 pounds. To my amazement, they were all 15 1/2 inches long.
Tragedy struck on that day. Joshua passed away 10 minutes after he was born. Then Miranda started to have seizures. She went into cardiac arrest. She hung on for 13 hours and 48 minutes.
Hunter, Alex, and Amanda are doing fine. They are 3 months old. I just found out that I am 4 weeks pregnant and due November 8. I already have names. For a girl it will be Savannah Amathyst. For a boy it will be Johnathon Ray the third. Enjoy my story. Congratulations new moms.
