The Twins of My Life
By Jimmeah
When I found out that I was pregnancy I was so happy. Why? Because I wanted to get pregnant since I was a teenager. But I always said to myself Jimmeah, wait until you get out of high school and get your life together.
Four months later, at my 20-week ultrasound, I found out that I was having twins.
That whole day I cried of joy and then I went and called my boyfriend and told him. When everybody found out it was like we had a baby shower every day because we was getting so much stuff we didn't even need a baby shower.
I did not know being pregnant can cause so much pain. Some days I would be OK and some days I wouldn't. But I was still happy to be pregnant with my twins.
My boyfriend and I spent a whole day thinking of names for the twins. At 10 o'clock we came up with the names we both agreed to, and they were: girl = Dementia Cardeya; boy = Demetrius Cordell. Those were the names we picked.
It happened like this:
We were at a get together and it was around 5 o'clock when it was time for me to have my babies. They took me to the doctor. Next thing you know I was having my babies. When they came out they were so cute. It felt so good to hold them and here them cry, and I cried with them.
Dementia Cardeya was 4 ounces, 6 pounds and Demetrius Cordell was 4 ounces, 8 pounds.
This is my story and I hope you enjoy it!
