A Very Surprising Birth

I had a pretty normal pregnancy. My husband was my doctor.

On March 7, I woke up and was having contractions. We decided earlier that we would have the baby at home with nobody with us, and that's how it was.

At 3 a.m., on March 8, I had the first strong contraction. I grabbed my husband and screamed through it. I was 23 and this was my first baby. He decided he would check me, and I was only 4 centimeters dilated.

He decided that since he would be catching our baby, he wanted pictures. He called my brother and he came over with all of his equipment. He set up cameras all over the house and always had one in his hand.

By 8 a.m., I was in so much pain that my clothes were off and I was using water treatment. That didn't work. I then went to the birth ball. Nothing was working. Then my brother suggested sitting on the toilet. That worked well. I was tired and ready to have this baby.

At 12 p.m., I had the urge to push and I pushed for two hours. That was tiring. My husband checked me again and told me that it was breech. At 2:07 p.m. he said that the baby was crowning. I was so happy that I didn't want to push.

I said I wasn't comfortable on my back, so I went into doggy style.

My brother took pictures of me, the baby and everything.

At 2:09 p.m., my daughter Lila was born. I was happy. I rolled onto my back and held her. Then my husband said I needed to push again. I asked why and he said there was another one. I screamed that I was so happy, as I pushed him out. I have two miraculous 3-year-olds now and I am very proud of it.

PS. We never had any ultrasounds. We did it all natural.
