My name is Jenny. My husband's name is Mathew. I was 9 months and was 1 week overdue. In July we were in birthing class when the pain was mild. I was dumb and didn't tell anyone.

After 4 p.m. the pain was bad. I locked myself in the bathroom and took a bath. I didn't know that could speed up labor.

Around 7 p.m. I told my husband. We are both women's doctors. So I told him before he went to work. He looked at me and said I was only 3 centimeters dilated. So he went to work the late shift.

At 1:30 a.m. I woke up wanting to push. I heard my husband in the shower, so I screamed his name. He came running out naked. After five minutes we were in the car. We were about an hour's drive from the hospital. I couldn't sit in the car much longer.

Matt pulled over and I squatted down and my husband caught the baby at the last second. The police came and toke us to the hospital. Grace was 7 pounds, 8 ounces and 21 inches with brown eyes. She was born at 2:15 a.m., 8/2/06.
