My due date was 6/5/98 and my mom kept saying that I was an easy baby to have so don't worry. Well, let me tell you that labor is NOT hereditary. My water broke at 2:20 p.m. on Saturday, 6/6, and we went to the hospital and planned on having our son within a few hours. It was 15 hours into it that the nurses said I could start pushing since I was at 9 centimeters. Well, after an hour and a half the doctor said that I wasn't ready to push and to stop. He took one look at me and said, Boy, this is gonna be a big one! Great. My doctor (not the one who delivered) said 7 to 8 pounds at the most. RIGHT!!!!!
Two hours later I am finally at 10 so they say try pushing again. Well, after another hour the doctor says, Prepare the C-section room ,the baby is stressing. Well, next push he crowned and after that there isn't anything to do but keep pushing so I did for another 3 hours!! When he was finally born he wasn't breathing and was completely white as a sheet. My husband went with the nurses as they started CPR and kept saying Jesus loves you Isaiah over and over again, and every time he did Isaiah would move and finally he was breathing.
I thank God everyday for saving our child's life and I thank my husband for choosing those life-saving words.
