I had my son on February 10, 2008. I had hard labor for 31 hours and my baby still wouldn't drop. I had to get an emergency Cesarean section. All went well, and I was out of the hospital three days later.
When at home, I started noticing headaches when I sat up, and they would go away when I would lie back down. It never occurred to me that this could be happening from an epidural. But I toughed it out, seeing that my son needed me more. I would force myself to get up and feed him, but the pain seemed to be getting more intense as he nursed.
It's been one year and one month, and my headaches are worse than ever, to the point that I am throwing up. I can't even sometimes get out of bed. The head throbs and I hear this loud swooshing in my ears. And the pain is in the front right side above my eye. I just want it to stop.
I had a ct scan, blood work and still everything is normal. So why do I feel this way? They said it is caused by tension headaches, but I know what caused it. I never had headaches before this.
I keep asking for a blood patch, but they keep telling me no! I don't know what else to do. I'm trying to raise a baby, but I can't do it feeling like this.
