Unplanned C-section, Ruptured Uterus

Hi, my name is Naila and I have four kids. When my third child was 15 I found out I was pregnant again. We were all so excited about it. My first child was a Cesarean but after that I had two vaginal deliveries without any problems.

I went in for my 37-week checkup and the doctor admitted me in the labor ward due to high blood pressure. Later they put me on Pitocin to regulate the pains and that's when it all started. I had a sudden sharp pain in the abdomen, like a knife slicing me from inside.

They took me in for C-section and that's when they found out that I had a uterine rupture vertically, very unusual. Plus I ended with a bladder rupture too. I don't know how I survived.

Baby was in the NICU for 10 days, but she is fine now. None can tell what is going to happen. Only God knows.

Your baby's labor and delivery is like no other in the world. Let others know what your experience was like.
