Hard Birth

Hi, my name is Ginger. I got pregnant when I was 23 and was so happy. I had just gotten married to the boy of my dreams and everything was going great. I told everyone!

At one of my visits to the doctor she told me I was pregnant with twins. I was so glad. My husband, Mark, and I decided to have a birth in the nearby women's clinic where my friend/midwife worked.

Eight and a half months later I went into labor. My husband drove me to the clinic and I called my mom who lives nearby. She came quickly. When the nurses checked me I was 7 centimeters dilated and the contractions were strong. My mom and Mark helped me through them.

At 5:30 I was ready to push. I started to push but nothing happened so my doctor stuck her hand in my vagina and told me to push there. I pushed and screamed so loud I overpowered the lady in the next room who was also giving birth. The head was out at 5:46 and I kept going. It hurt so bad.

Resting in between contractions after a long birth, my first baby, Alyssa Nicole, was born at 6:06. Soon my contractions started up again and began pushing. I screamed the whole time. Julia Elizabeth was born at 7:01 and now my little 3-year-olds are perfect and healthy. And I am pregnant again with a boy. Can't wait to share his story. Thanks!
