At 16 weeks, I found out I was having twins. At 18 weeks, we found out it was triplets. We decided for the genders to be a surprise and the naming process took a long time.
At 31 weeks, I was huge in my 5-foot, 6-inch frame. I felt contractions and we went to the hospital. We knew a Cesarean section was the only way since both Babies A and B were breech. I was prepped for the OR and at 6:26 a.m., Nathaniel Jacob was born at 4 pounds, 6 ounces. His identical brother Cameron Joseph made an appearance at 6:28 a.m. weighing 5 pounds even. At 6:29 a.m., my little girl made her entrance. Abigail Grace weighed 4 pounds, 2 ounces.
Abbeu went home four days later with me. Nate stayed in the NICU for eight days due to an infection and then he came home. Cam had surgery to correct a valve in his heart and he stayed at the NICU for 17 days.
Today Nate, Cam and Abbey are 4 years old and thriving in elementary school. They have a little brother named Braden Oliver (Brady), age 2, and I am 32 weeks with baby No. 5, who is to be named Lucas Jonah or McKenna Riley.
