When I was 24 I was going in for my regular stomach ultrasounds (because of a disorder) and my doctor turned to me and said, "Congrats, you have twins!" And all I did was cry. So I called my boyfriend, then my mom, and they were happy.
I was about 7 3/4 months when I went into labor. The next day I went to the hospital and I was the full 10 centimeters dilated. I was surprised at how quick it went. After 60 minutes of pushing Meagan Jane was born weighing 2 pounds and only having 30 percent of her blood. She had seven transfusions and was OK. Then three minutes after that her brother Ryan Michal was born the same weight and only 30 percent and still bleeding, but he was stabilized and was doing good.
Now I think of their birth and thank God every day for my miracles.
