Unexpected Twins

When I found out I was pregnant I was married and, well, scared. Nothing eventful happened, and everything was fine. But my hubby was dying to have a homebirth and I thought, OK why not. I was going to school to become a midwife and I had lots of friends who were trained.

So at 9 months I was huge but very well. One day my husband and I were searching the Web for induction techniques and I thought, Sex would be a fun and easy way. I enjoyed sex more than ever.

After sex my husband slept and got ready for work because there were no signs of the baby coming. About four hours after he left I was going to the market and I thought I peed myself. I went in the house to clean up. I walked around but nothing happened so I thought it wasn't anything to worry about.

About 30 minutes later I was on the floor and called my husband. When he got home I couldn't talk. He called the midwife. She said she would be over in about an hour and a half, which was too long to wait, but I held through almost.

At about 10:26 a.m. I was tired and I walked to the stairs. In the hallway I felt the urge to push but tried to ignore it but finally gave in and pushed. It burned so badly. My husband caught the baby. It was a beautiful girl.

After the placenta was out the midwife arrived and checked me. After an hour she was ready to leave when I got 12 strong contractions in three minutes and had to push. Two hours later a had a little boy.

Isabella is 1 1/2
Steven is 1 1/2

I'm expecting in one week from July 1 with a boy homebirth! But the ultrasound came out funny. My hubby thinks it's twins again but two boys.
