Hello, my name is Nora Villarreal. I live in Laredo, Texas. Almost 10 years ago on December 23, 1996, I gave birth to an extremely premature baby girl weighing only 1 pound, 11 ounces. The doctors here in Laredo did not give her much hope except for her neonatologist, Dr. G. She never gave up on her.

Our daughter Norita is almost 10 years old, and has amazed so many people on how well she is doing. She is in fourth grade and in regular classes and doing well. She loves to read and she hopes to one day be a chef. We are so grateful to God and all of our family and friends for always being there for us. Thanks.
