There was no time for pain relief except oxygen. At 21.30, I started to push and at 21.55, my son was born. They had to cut me since he came backwards. Because of the premature birth, he was taken out of the delivery room right away (his Apgar score was six). He had problems breathing, he was blue and his reaction had increased to 2800g. We went to regular controls for a year, but everything was fine! He is now 5 years old and looks and behaves like any other kid his age. Maybe his head is a little bit flat at the sides and the neck a little bit bigger than normal, but not so much that people notice it.
He now has a little brother, three years old (born in week 36) and we are now expecting a third child, which is due January, 1999. Hopefully it won't be a preemie, but I'm considered high-risk.
