Thirty-four-and-a-half Weeks
I just want to say that my son was born at 34 weeks gestation due to in utero fetal growth retardation. I found out at my 30-week doctor visit that he had stopped growing. My appointment was on a Friday. My doctor decided to induce labor on me the following Wednesday.

He didn't make it till Wednesday. My water broke on that next Saturday after my appointment. At 12:50 a.m. he was born at 4 pounds, 8.5 ounces and 18 inches long. He wasn't breathing the way he should. The nurses had to bag him with oxygen. He was put in an oxygen hood for three days and did really well. He had a problem keeping his body temperature up the way he should but was doing great.

Three days later he was able to come home with me. He still had a problem with his temperature but I kept him warm in blankets.

He is now 9 months old and doing great at 22 pounds and 32 inches long.
