- Breech, Cesarean, Pre-eclampsia
Almost my whole pregnancy went along fairly smoothly. Though I had morning
sickness for the first five months, it helped to control my weight gain and
I went the duration gaining only 12 pounds! - Birth Options for Breech Baby
Everything was going fine in my pregnancy and I was looking forward to the
birth. I went for my checkup at 34 weeks and the midwife told me that she
didn't think the baby had turned -- most babies turn at 32 weeks. - Blood Transfusion and H- Blood = Early Delivery
January 24, I was on my way to work when I started having shortness of
breath. I am an asthmatic who was diagnosed with sarcoidois, a lung
disease. - Failed External Version, Breech, Cesarean
I was not a good pregnant woman. My problems started in about the fifth
week. - Little Mom and Big Baby
My husband Peter and I had been married 11 years when we started trying to
conceive. Six months and one miscarriage later we found out we were
expecting again and were overjoyed. - Long Labor, C-section
My husband and I were married on October 3, 1998. We
felt it would be right
to start on a family right away. - Breech Baby, Scheduled C-section
After reading hundreds of birth stories during my
pregnancy, I am so excited to finally be sharing mine!
Thank you to all who shared their birth stories. - Snowstorm Baby, Breech, C-Section
Siri was due on March 5, 1999 -- however, at 36 weeks we discovered she
was
breech. At week 37 we went into the hospital to try to have her turned (they
did an external version) but she would not move. - C-section: Scheduled?
Four days before the birth of our son, we had an ultrasound to determine his
size. Our doctor had been telling us for some time that we had a big baby,
and he wanted to know just how big before I went into labor. - Breech Baby, C-section 2 Days After Due Date
Hello to all the mothers and mothers-to-be out there. It's been about
4 1/2 months since I've visited Pregnancy Today, and I have missed all the
great info. - Don't be Afraid! C-Section, Transverse, Good Experience
At 34 I was finally pregnant and after 5 weeks on bed rest for some pre-term
labor (which I never even felt) my doctor checked one last time and my baby
was still transverse. Needless to say, I was a wide load thanks to baby's
position. - Planned C-section at 39 Weeks - Breech
It didn't look like our breech baby was going to turn by himself, and I opted to not go with external version because of the risks involved, and I just don't believe in
messing with mother nature sometimes!
So, we woke up at 4:00 a. - Breech, Planned C-section
My
pregnancy was uneventful except for a low-lying placenta which was followed
by periodic ultrasounds. An ultrasound at 34 weeks showed that my placenta
had moved up, which was good news, but the baby was still in the head up position. - First Baby, C-section
I was quite shocked at my Wednesday doctor's appointment when I
learned I needed to have a c-section the very next day at noon. I was not prepared to hear those words. - C-section Breech, Footling Presentation
Kyle was born September 23rd, 1998. My biggest fear during my pregnancy was
that I would be in labor and not know it.
