I was almost 29 weeks pregnant with our beautiful little girl. We found out that we were having a girl and were buying all little things that were pink, and also trying to decide over a name. I had bought a top with "Mum and Dad's little Angel" on it. It was from that moment that we decided that we would call our daughter Angel.
I had to go for a scan as the doctors were a little concerned that she was a little bit too small. When I arrived at the hospital I just had a feeling that something was not right. As the cold gel was squeezed on to my round tummy it was then they told us the news that there was no heartbeat.
To be honest the next two days were just a whirlwind of flowers, cards and sympathy. But I didn't want any of it. I wanted my little girl.
I gave birth to Angel Browne on 02.02.02 weighing 1 pound, 14 ounces. She was perfect in every shape and form. A true Angel, she had a little smell which I can sometimes smell now; it was almost sweet.
We had a little funeral with just our close family. It was then that my husband proposed we needed something to focus on, so we got married. We now have two beautiful little girls called Molly and Leah.
We did have a post mortem done but it came back with no real reason. I guess Angel just wasn't meant to be here. I think about her every day and say goodnight to her every night.
So this is for you, my little Angel. Good night, God bless.
Love you forever and always, Mommy and Daddy
