I was 22 weeks when I went into labor with Phenessia. I had just had a checkup on December 4, 2008. My checkup was fine.
New Year's day I had a great day. January 3 is when I went into labor. I was in labor for three days without knowing it since it was my first baby.
January 6, 2009, I was really hurt to the point I could not walk. So I got up and headed to the doctor. When I had my ultrasound she said I was dilated 10 centimeters. I was very scared. She weighed 1 pound, 6 ounces. She laughed and made a small cry and they put a tube on her to help her to breathe. I was very scared for my blessing.
She went to Jackson NICU. She had 3 and 4 stage bleeds on both sides of her brain. She was on all types of medicine.
I felt very sorry for my angel. I was thinking What have I done so my angel has to fight for her life? Her oxygen was always high.
On February 10, 2009, I got a call at work saying I needed to come ASAP. When I got there my angel was dying and there was nothing I could do about it. I held Phenessia because I had never held her since I had her. She went back home to the Lord in her mom's arms in peace.
So my Blessing, RIP (Phenessia LaCorian Jenaye Moore)
