I found out I was pregnant two days before Christmas in 2003. I was so excited.
I had my scans and the midwives told me my baby was fine and growing well.
But then in March 2004 I couldn't feel my baby moving anymore. I've never had any children before so I wasn't too sure.
I went to the hospital and they told me my baby had died. I couldn't believe this was happening to me. I was only 20 years old and I only had five more weeks to go and my mum was so excited to be a granny. Everyone couldn't wait to spoil their first grandchild.
I had to give birth to a beautiful baby girl, Anna, 4 pounds, 1 ounce, I was in labor for 14 1/2 hours. I got to see her for a few days and then buried her. She was totally healthy. It was the cord. It had gotten too tight around her neck and that's why she died.
I had her a year ago on March 21, 2004, at 1:22 a.m.
Love you always, Anna, and miss you loads
