Strength

I just wanted to say some words to the story Never Give Up. You are a very strong soul. I'm glad to hear you never gave up you followed your heart. You were right.

I lost my son just three weeks ago. He was the same age as your baby. I went into premature labor for what looks to be no real reason. I gave birth just hours later. I was away on vacation for our "baby moon vacation" and as a result of where we were I was not given much compassion or choices.

It was awful, a far cry from the birthing experience I had wished of with my midwife at home. I was looked at as strange by the doctors for wanting to see my son after he was born, although he was not alive at birth. We didn't get to hold him or touch him. I only saw him for all of a minute. He was beautiful.

We are now fighting hard to have him back in Canada with us for a proper service.

I'm happy to know you handled everything as you did. Doctors are far from God, and I've run into too many like the first doctor you mentioned in your story. It's sad. I'm so happy to hear you found a great doctor and you held on.

Thank you for sharing your story. Much love to you and Baby.

J.
