On May 10, 2008, I had a grand mal seizure and at the time I was 7 months pregnant. I got rushed to the hospital to be checked out. The baby was OK but I had broken open my nose and eyelid. My nose required four stitches and my eyelid required three.

I was in the hospital for three days getting tests done and my baby was not due till June 27. On May 13 the doctors came in and told me they had to do an emergency Cesarean section. So at 10:57 a.m. I had my beautiful baby girl named Makenna Rayann Johnson, weighing 4 pounds, 1 ounce, and 17 inches long.

Makenna spent her first two weeks of life in Children's Hospital of Wisconsin. Today Makenna is 1 year old and weighs 18 1/2 pounds and is a very healthy baby.
