Third Time’s a Charm
I am the happy mother of three little girls ages 6, 4 and 15 months.

My first labor was induced five days after my due date. I failed to dilate at all. Kimmer was born by Cesarean section at 8 pounds, 3 ounces.

My second labor was also induced two days after my due date. Again, failing to dilate, Kendra was born by C-section at 7 pounds, 4 ounces.

At the beginning of my third pregnancy, I was adamant about not being induced and being allowed to go into labor on my own, naturally. For the first time, I switched from an OB/GYN to a very pro-VBAC nurse practitioner.

After my 9 months of pregnancy were up with still no signs of upcoming labor, I was put on bed rest for high blood pressure. I am happy to say that our daughter, Kellie, was delivered naturally, after two C-sections, at 10 pounds, 6 ounces. It was 13 days after her due date on April Fool's Day at 1:45 a.m.

Your baby's labor and delivery is like no other in the world. Let others know what your experience was like.
